MYSQL & PHP

PHP is a widely-used general-purpose scripting language that is especially suited for Web development and can be embedded into HTML. It differs from HTML in that it is not outputted to the browser, rather, it is processed on the server, and it's results are sent to the browser. This is good for a variety of things ranging from having the current date on your web page, to creating forums. There are many server side languages out there. PHP takes elements from Perl and C and mixes them with some of it's own tricks to provide you with easier ways to deal with web related content.

We use PHP scripting throughout our web site, from web forms to currency display and much more. PHP is a recursive acronym and stands for Hypertext Preprocessor
