Why do I need a SSL Web Server Certificate?

- The validity dates of the certificate. This is extremely important, since it shows users that your SSL Web Server Certificate is current.

In order to set up SSL for your web site, you will need to obtain your own secure certificate. Your secure site would then be accessed as: https://www.superwebhost.com (note the 's' after http). We use GeoTrust for our own secure servers. You will also need to purchase a dedicated IP address for your account, if you don't have one already.
