PGP is Pretty Good Privacy, it's sole purpose is to protect your private information from people who shouldn't be looking at it. PGP is most commonly used to protect private Email, but can also be used to store files securely.
PGP was originally written by Phillip Zimmerman. PGP is now commercially available from Network Associates, however many opensource products are available that implement the OpenPGP standard.
We strongly encourage the use of PGP when communicating over public networks such as the Internet. You may think that no one would specifically target your Email (and you're probably right), but on a public network anyone might be watching what goes on (much like sitting in the park, people watching).
If you haven't already, install the freeware version of PGP for Windows 9x/ME, Windows 2000, Macintosh and Linux/*BSD/U*IX (We like GNU Privacy Guard ourselves :-))
Once you've created a keypair for yourself, send us a copy of your public key. We will add it to our database for later use.
Before sending us PGP encrypted Email, you will need our public keys.
