How to Edit a Cron Job via cPanel

To edit a cron job on your web server via cPanel, follow the steps below.

  1. Log on to your cPanel account.

  2. On the Search bar located below the cPanel logo on the top left, enter cron to bring up the Cron Job function to the top of the page.

  1. Click Cron Jobs to open the Cron Jobs page.

  1. Scroll down to the bottom of the Cron Jobs page, where you can see a list of your current cron jobs.

  2. Under the Actions column, click Edit.cron-job-list.png

  3. Make your changes to the cron job, then click the Edit Line button at the bottom.click-edit-line.png

  4. The server will then save your changes to the cron job.

Wait for the Edit Successful message to be displayed on your screen. If there is an error with your edits to the cron job, an error message will be shown on your screen instead. If this happens, repeat Steps 5 and 6 until the error disappears and the Edit Successful message is displayed.

 

How to Delete a Cron Job via cPanel

To delete a cron job from your web server via cPanel, follow the steps below.

  1. Log on to your cPanel account.

  2. On the Search bar located below the cPanel logo on the top left, enter cron to bring up the Cron Job function to the top of the page.

  1. Click Cron Jobs to open the Cron Jobs page.

  1. Scroll down to the bottom of the Cron Jobs page, where you can see a list of your current cron jobs.

  2. Under the Actions column, click Delete.click-delete.png

  3. On the confirmation message, click Delete. The server will then delete the cron job and refresh your list of current cron jobs.
